My bathroom cabinetry is finally installed after being safely tucked away in storage while renovations were completed. I can say that it was worth the wait as they look really beautiful. I chose the recycled messmate and am so pleased as I have just the look I was after, so warm and earthy. Prices are very comparable with mass produced items which are not of the same quality and was easy dealing with Bombora who were very accommodating in meeting my needs. Highly recommend. In building our custom designed desk unit for our study, Luke, Alison and Charlie created a beautiful piece of furniture that is both exceptionally functional, and also a lasting work of art. In solid timber, and of elegant design, it is an absolute pleasure to sit at the desk, gaze out the window and pretend to work, like a retiree should. The timber vanity and shaving cabinets weren't meant to be the centrepiece of the bathroom, but.... In all honesty I don't like vanities- throughout the planning it was just something I had to have. Went all the way through selection of a major brand laminate vanity only to find at the end bof the process that the extras meant it was outrageously expensive. I contacted Bombora because if I had to spend that much, I might as well at least get a quote for real timber. Alison was super helpful, had timber samples in the mail quicksticks and made the process so straightforward. Communication was clear and all the processes were well established so there was no uncertainty at any stage. To say the finished product exceeded my expectations is an understatement. The timber is stunning and brings a beautiful warmth to the space. 10/10 recommend, and for virtually the same price (assuming same sort of specs) as the mass produced laminate options. Such a win 😁

Without a doubt, I highly recommend you to consider this place when it comes to get furniture. I rarely buy anything online without seeing it first. In this case I took an exception and based my decision only by pictures. The overall process to design the furniture is just ideal. You may or may not like the one I have got, but it has been done specifically to meet my needs. Dealing with them is amazingly easy. Once delivered, the quality is just so good. If I have to mention any aspect to improve, at the ver beginning the process might seem a bit misleading (it might be only me though), as there are some decision to help them draft the furniture; however it can be changed afterwards. So, all good.

I’ve used Bombora twice now for a custom made desk. Their quality and attention to detail is amazing, and the finished product is always beautiful and will last a lifetime. Their customer service is also top notch, with constant updates on the progress of the build and delivery dates. Consider me a lifetime customer!

Absolutely LOVE our new sideboard! Waited a long time before buying a quality piece of furniture for our reasonably new home. So glad we decided to look online for custom made furniture and found Bombora! Looks fantastic and is a piece of art to be admired by all. Plenty of space for all our bits and pieces! Bombora review I have nothing but praise for Bombora Custom Furniture. Firstly, Luke’s workmanship and pride in his product is unsurpassed. He and his team were friendly and obviously dedicated to providing a special service. More importantly though, when we had a misunderstanding about the design, Luke was so understanding. It involved a fair bit of extra work (he had to dismantle the whole feature bedhead and rebuild it). We both realised how the miscommunication had occurred (nobody’s fault- we both played a part..just different understandings of a simple phrase “highlight piece”) and Luke was as devastated as we were that what he had started wasn’t what we had in mind. Quite often when these things happen you feel the blame shifted to yourself as the customer. Not so with Bombora and what a relief to feel understood regarding our part in the mixup. We worked out the minimal extra cost and the result is the most beautiful piece of furniture for our son’s 21st. This is a gift that keeps on giving. You can’t help thinking “that’s awesome” every time you look at the double bed and matching bedside units. Thanks so much Luke, Allison and your team.
