With Messmate and recycled Messmate, you have the option to choose how much natural character you’d like to see in your furniture. Medium feature is our standard, offering a balanced look with distinctive grain and markings that suit a wide range of interiors.

If you’d prefer a low-feature for a cleaner, more minimal look, or a high-feature for extra wow factor, we offer a Timber Selection Service. This involves our makers visiting the timber yard to hand-pick each board to your preference, with a $200 selection fee to cover the additional time.
